About the event
In collaboration with the City of Richfield, the first citywide Richfield Juneteenth Celebration is happening on Saturday, June 17th, from 11:30 AM - 4:00 PM at Veterans Park. The event will kick off with a short Freedom Walk at 11:30 AM, begining at the "Honoring All Veterans" Memorial. Starting at 12:00 PM, the festivities commence at the Richfield Community Bandshell. This will include food from Taste the Real Nawlins and Flame Mobile Kitchen, performances by JAJABAND, Frank & Judah Gardner, plus Kimberly Brown and her band, as well as DJ Jamal Guy, emcee Bukata Hayes, and special guest speakers. A huge thank you to our Premeir Sponsors, Best Buy and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Minnesota, for making this all possible!
If you would like to have a booth at the event and participate as either a vendor or community resource, please RSVP and complete the registration form on this page no later than Wednesday, June 14th. If you are attending as a guest, no need to do anything but spread the word and join the celebration on June 17th!
